Like what Farhan said, “8 th grade physics, they studied it, he applied it”, this kind of things are the reason why I think Science is really great, when I was in elementary and high school I would get very low grades in Science, because it was full of discussion, teachers keep on talking without actual demonstration, but when I see these kind of things I would be amaze and I would even be able to understand how it scientifically works. In just this part of the movie, still in the beginning, it was already shown how extraordinary Rancho is. I know that salt water is a good conductor of electricity but watching this part was actually the first time that I knew how it actually works in that kind of situation and that the electricity would flow throughout the source of the liquid. In here, it was already shown what Rancho can do and it was amazing, what he did was he connected live wires to a spoon so that if the senior peed on the door, it would shock him. After Chatur explained to him about the tradition he quickly ran into a room, and the senior warned him that if does not go out, the senior will pee on the door. The lead senior then noticed him and told him to remove his pants, implying that he should join the other first years to do the tradition. Back to the story, Rancho was seen in full clothing with his back pack, sling bag and a briefcase. I myself didn’t expect that this kind of things actually happening in some school, while it look really odd and not proper at all, I believe that it is true to some colleges, however I think it’s not possible here in the Philippines because I have never seen any complaint on these kind of things unless if they actually join a fraternity or something. He was first seen at a campus tradition on day 1 where freshmen must pay their respects to seniors in their underwear. He was a free-spirited one and he knows what he really is doing and he’s dealing with when facing situations. He was different among other freshmen who were qualified to study there.
He was introduced as the Prime Minister’s son when he entered the Imperial College of Engineering.
